Our economy is rolling along right now, and we’re in the middle of the longest economic expansion in U.S. history. Unemployment is at 3.5%, the lowest it has been in the past 50 years.

Wages are going up, too. Even some Taco Bell managers are making six figures. This is a great indicator for our economy as well.

A lot of this has to do with the advancement of technology. The iPhone is only about 11.5 years old, but the impact it has had on our economy has been unbelievable. Throw in deregulation and corporate tax cuts to go along with this technology, and you have the recipe for a very good economy.

 

 

It’s an election year, and incumbent administrations usually do whatever they can to prop up the economy so that they’ll get reelected.

This is why I expect our economy and our stock market to continue to thrive in 2020. Overall, I believe this will be a fairly good year for the economy.
