What Can We Be Thankful for This Holiday Season?
Now is the season of giving thanks, so it’s important that we step back and think about what we can be grateful for. On our team, we’re grateful for your trust and confidence.
It’s December in Houston. It’s rainy and cold outside right now, which is why you might notice I have my Mr. Rogers vest on.
But, ‘tis the season to be thankful, and we all have much to be thankful for—our friends, family, health, and more. We probably don’t spend enough time counting our blessings, but that’s life—things come up that we focus on instead and we don’t spend as much time being thankful as we could.
One thing we can be thankful for this year is very good markets. We’ve seen an excellent year from the stock market. Not only have we seen asset prices rise, but we’ve seen them rise without a whole lot of volatility. Some will be thankful for that, while others will regret certain investments they didn’t make.
”
However, we don’t drive looking through our rearview mirror. We have to look forward with what we do. As the year comes to a close, look at your investments in a positive light. Hopefully, you’ve had good returns. It’s been a positive year, so you could be thankful for that. Like life, certain times are easier than others. There are positive times, and we have to prepare for the inevitable difficult times in the market when they do come our way.
I want you to know that I’m grateful for you. Whether you’re a client or a prospective client, the entire Green Financial Group is thankful for your trust and confidence. Thanks for listening to us and taking our advice.
